Inspired by Taiyō Matsumoto's Tekkonkinkreet manga artbook gifted by Sabrina Hart. In this piece, I wanted to show the beauty of East Asia as it is where I belong to, and emerge London Oxford street view to act as a comparison of both cultures. The story has a dark concept, but bright colours are used in the film as a contrast. To implement this idea from the film, I decided to use monochrome to sketch out the city. The meaning of the Chinese character is elephant where it often appears in the film, in Asia countries it symbolizes blessing or luck for people.

Based on Hong Kong hurdler Vera Lui Lai Yiu post on social media. She was sexually assaulted by her former coach when she was a junior secondary school student. She got a lot of supportive messages, however, there are even more negative comments from citizens. Not only the experience she had to go through, but these comments will definitely cause damage to her mentally.
