Yumcha is a Cantonese traditional brunch that involves eating dim sum and drinking Chinese tea. This piece symbolises the loss traditional of Cantonese dining and how I hope this culture endures and spread worldwide.

People tend to buy the product just to keep up the trend and for showing off. In an extreme case, there were people trying to sell their organs in order to purchase luxurious products. But have they thought about the consequences they may get in the future and does it really worth it?

Inspired by James Baldwin’s quote, ‘Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.’ The rate of Hong Kong student committing suicide has increased since 2016, and there’s a significant reason that was caused by the discouragement and academic pressure from parents or teachers. Oppositely I wish this could support and encourage all the student in need.
